Russian Deputy Energy Minister Kirill Molodtsov took part in the Plenary session  discussion "Global Energy Market and Regional Integration Processes " during the IV International Forum "Exploration, extraction, processing 2016".

Russian Deputy Energy Minister Anatoly Yanovsky participated in the 14th Regional Seminar on JODI ( Joint Oil Data Initiative) for the CIS countries, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, which was held in Moscow  within the framework of the IV International Forum "Exploration, Production, Processing - 2016 ". The JODI Workshop was opened by the Russian Deputy Minister  jointly with  Dr. Xiansheng Sun, IEF Secretary General.

The OPEC Research Analyst will make a presentation titled “Long-term Oil and Energy Outlook” based on the OPEC World Oil Outlook, which will be officially launched on November 8. This presentation will be included in the programme of the 2nd International Conference "SCENARIO, FORECASTS AND STATISTICS FOR THE GLOBAL AND REGIONAL ENERGY DEVELOPMENT".

The Russian-Iranian Energy Forum "RUSSIA AND IRAN: TOWARDS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF THE WORLD ENERGY" will be the key event of the EPP programme on November, 10. Dr. Amir-Hossein Zamaninia, Deputy Oil Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Sirous Vatankhah, Head of Energy Technologies Department, CITC, Presidency of Iran, Mr. Saeed Pakseresht, Director for Research and Technology, National Iranian Gas Company, Mr. Talegani, Director for Research and Technology, National Iranian Gas Company and other representatives of the Russian and Iranian companies and organizations will attend the Energy Forum.

IEF Secretary General will deliver the speech at the Plenary “Global Energy Market and Regional Integration processes” and will take part in the JODI Training Workshop for Russia, CIS Region, South Eastern Europe and MENA Region jn the 9th of November. Mr. Christof van Agt, IEF Senior Energy Analyst will deliver a presentation during the session on “Scenario, forecasts and statistics for the global and regional energy development” during the afternoon.

The practical issues of improving the legal framework and financial mechanisms for risk management in the Russian oil and gas sector, innovations in risk management processes, including modeling the risks and opportunities, technological and price audit, the role of survey in the risk management system and other topical issues were discussed at the Conference consists.

The Russian President Vladimir Putin supported the initiative of OPEC to restrict oil production during his speech within the framework of the 23th World Energy Congress in Istanbul. "We support the OPEC initiative to commit to production limits and hope that at the OPEC meeting in November, the initiative would be translated into concrete agreements. Russia is ready to join the joint measures to limit production and encourages others oil exporters to do the same, "- said Vladimir Putin.

BCG Partner & Managing Director in Moscow will contribute to the Panel "International Experience of Risk Management in the Oil&Gas industry". Irina Gaida joined BCG in 2005. She is the leader of the Energy practice group in BCG CIS. Irina works on a variety of issues, including organizational issues, operational efficiency improvements, and growth, as well as market entry strategies and due diligence/PMI support. Her client portfolio includes Russian VIOCs and major international companies working in Russia.

The head of the Energy Ministry of Russia expressed support for the initiative of the International Energy Forum to create a structure for the exchange of knowledge in the field of energy efficiency and carrying out the JODI Workshop, which will be held "back-to-back" to the International Forum “EXPLORATION, PRODUCTION, PROCESSING” in Moscow in November 2016.
