The Deputy Minister of Energy will take part in the plenary session “Interregional Integration Processes and Russia's Role in Ensuring Sustainable Development of the World Energy”, where the issues of interaction between the integration associations of ESCAP, SCO, EAEU in the energy sector, diversifying gas transit routes and enhancing the energy security of the European Union, expanding the energy cooperation of the EAEU with countries in the Asian region, as well as optimizing the structure of production, domestic consumption and export of energy resources will be discussed.
The Head of SPIMEXwill focus on the issues of pricing and further developing the stock market mechanism within his presentation titled “Developing Pricing in the International Oil Market: New Benchmarks, Currencies and Settlement Technologies” at the plenary session “Interregional Integration Processes and Russia's Role in Ensuring Sustainable Development of the World Energy”,.
The Conference has been opened at the Central Exhibition Hall “Manezh” by the Plenary session “World Energy Risks and Effective Governance” within the II International Forum “Russian Energy Week”. The First Vice-president of the Russian Risk Management Society, Head of LUKOIL Insurance Division Andrey Elokhin will pay special attention to the tasks to be performed while building the Corporate Insurance Coverage Program and optimizing the insurance program from decision-making position.
Also within the framework of the Round Table the issues of choosing an integrated risk management strategy through insurance, balance of interests between risk self-financing and transfer of risk to insurance, features of major losses settlement in energy will be discussed.

An interesting and timely International Conference under the title “Risk Management Leaders in Energy” took place in Istanbul on 15-16 May 2018. The event was organized by the “Institute for Energy and Finance“ (IEF) from Russia, in collaboration with the “Institute of Risk Management“ (IRM) from the UK and its Regional Group in Turkey, with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation.
The meeting devoted to preparing the International Conference "Risk Management Leaders in Energy" (Conference), May 15-16, 2018, Istanbul (Turkey) took place in the Russian Ministry of Energy on April 19 under the leadership of the Deputy Minister of Energy Anatily Yanovsky.
A proposal of Mr. Sulkhan Zumburidze, Chairman of the Management Board / Rehabilitation Manager of JSC "Georgian State Electrosystem" to hold in Istanbul the next regular round of negotiations between the heads of Energy Ministries from the countries-participants of the AGIR format (Armenia-Georgia-Iran-Russia ) with participation of the leading electric power companies from the AGIR member countries was discussed at the meeting.
Following the discussion, the proposal of the Georgian side was supported, and Mr. Yanovsky instructed to work out the issue of holding a meeting in Istanbul with participants in the AGIR format.
Mr. Margheri, Executive Vice President for Institutional Affairs of Edison will make a presentation at the Plenary Session “Risks in the morden world energy and govering them” on May 15.
In this capacity, he oversees Edison advocacy towards Italian, European and International Institutions, as well as stakeholders and opinion leaders. The Institutional Affairs Department is also responsible for sustainability policies and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Marco previously held various positions as Head of EU Affairs for Edison and in the Marketing & Sales Department, as Head of New Channel Development. Prior to joining Edison, Marco worked with General Electric Oil & Gas and with Cohn&Wolfe, now a WPP company.

Putin and Erdogan launched the construction of the Akkuyu nuclear power plant on Tuesday. This power plant will be the first nuclear power plant built in Turkey.
