10/11/2016 // OPEC's initiative to limit oil production, supported by Vladimir Putin, will be discussed at the Forum EPP-2016 with participation of Dr. Ghanimi Fard, Head of Petroleum Studies Department, OPEC

The Russian President Vladimir Putin supported the initiative of OPEC to restrict oil production during his speech within the framework of the 23th World Energy Congress in Istanbul. "We support the OPEC initiative to commit to production limits and hope that at the OPEC meeting in November, the initiative would be translated into concrete agreements. Russia is ready to join the joint measures to limit production and encourages others oil exporters to do the same, "- said Vladimir Putin.


This discussion will be continued on November 9 in Moscow during the Plenary "The Global Energy Market and Regional Integration Processes" with participation of Dr. Xiansheng Sun, Secretary General, International Energy Forum (IEF), Dr. Urban Rusnák, Secretary General of the Energy Charter Secretariat, Dr. Ghanimi Fard, Head of OPEC Petroleum Studies Department and other heads of international energy companies, Russian and foreign state bodies and leading companies.
