Azizollah Ramezani, director for international affairs of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) said: “Russia and Iran could cooperate in the common fields of activity. We could share experiences and technologies, for example, in the transportation of gas. And in the future, the Iranian and Russian gas pipelines to Europe could be, perhaps, united”.
The key event of the conference program will be the International Congress "Transformation of the energy markets and Russia's role in the global energy mix". Transformation of the relation between energy suppliers and consumers, outcomes of the Summit of BRICS and SCO leaders in Ufa for developing the International Energy Cooperation, the future of Russia – EU Energy Dialogue will be discussed within the framework of the Congress.
About 10.708 million barrels per day were produced in Russia in Mat 2015, while in Saudi Arabia - only 10.250 million barrels. Thus, Russia has become the largest oil producer in the world
Moscow, May 29. - Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, Anatoly Yanovsky, spoke at the plenary session, "The contribution of Russia and China in the formation of sustainable regional energy cooperation" within the international conference "Russia and China: a new partnership in a changing world."
Within the framework of the preparation for EPP-2015 Forum&Exhibition Anatoly Yanovsky, the Russian Deputy Minister of Energy took part in the signing ceremony of the Russian-Chinese Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of Energy, Finance and Regional development.
During the ceremony he expressed a confidence that it would be comprehensive, informative and strategic cooperation accounting the interests of each Party.
Stressing a significance of the Memorandum for attracting the Chinese investment in the Russian energy sector Anatoly Yanovsky said, " the fact that CODA is focused not only on the promotion of the Chinese goods and services, but also on China's foreign direct investment abroad is of particular importance to us ".
The first practical step for implementation of the Memorandum in the current year will be a Russian-Chinese Energy Forum, which will take place on November 18 in Moscow within the framework of the Forum&Exhibition "Exploration. Production. Processing - 2015." Hu Weiping, CODA Secretary-General as well as heads of the leading Russian and Chinese energy and investment companies will take part in the Energy Forum. He Zhenwei, Deputy Secretary General noted during the meeting, that during the Energy Forum it’s planned to discuss and sign agreements regarding creation of joint ventures for production of innovative equipment for the oil and gas industry in Russia with the assistance of the Chinese investment."
Vladimir Feigin, President of the Institute for Energy and Finance noted the comprehensiveness of the Memorandum, the implementation of which will allow to realize bilateral investment projects in all sectors of energy not only in Russia but also in other countries
Preparation of the Russian-Chinese Energy Forum in November 2015, co-organized by the China Overseas Development Association (CODA), as well as the priorities of joint action for developing the Russian-Chinese cooperation in energy, finance and regional development will be discussed during the meeting
