Consultations of the Coordinators of the Russia-OPEC Energy Dialogue were held in the Analytical Center of the Government of the Russian Federation under the leadership of the Russian Minister of Energy Alexander Novak and the OPEC Secretary General A. El-Badri. During the negotiations OPEC Secretary General confirmed the participation in the events of EPP-2015.
Member of the EPP-2015 Organizing Committee, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee of the Russian Federation on natural resources, nature management and ecology, President of NP «Miners of Russia» Valery Yazev made a speech on the problems of development of fuel and energy sector.
Answering the question asked by Valery Yazev on strategic planning in the energy sector, the Russian Minister has expressed readiness to take part in parliamentary hearings on the implementation of the Federal Law "On the strategic planning in the Russian Federation", as well as has invited the leadership and experts of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry to discuss the working version of the Energy Strategy up to 2035.
President of BP Russia David Campbell will make a presentation at the plenary session of the International Congress "The transformation of the energy markets and the role of Russia in the world energy balance," and BP representatives will participate in the Forum&Exhibition "Exploration, Production, Processing 2015".
Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak made a statement regarding development of the Russian-Greek energy cooperation: "The Russian Federation intends to support the recovery of the Greek economy by enhancing cooperation in the energy sector. In this context, we are considering the possibility of organizing direct deliveries of energy resources to Greece in the near future. We are working on this and hope to reach an agreement within a few weeks, "- said Alexander Novak.
Ufa, July 9. - Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak attended the meeting of the BRICS countries leaders within the delegation of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The political coordination and global governance, sustainable development challenges as well as the expansion of cooperation within the association were discussed at the meeting.
