The IV International Energy HR-Congress "Developing the personnel potential as a tool for increasing global competitiveness of Russian energy» organized by the Institute for Energy and Finance was held with the support of the Russian Ministry of Energy in Moscow at the Analytical center under the Government of the Russian Federation on November 21, 2019.

The focus of the HR-Congress was the human capital as investment in sustainable development, the role of human resources as a center for managing changes in terms of increased risks, international practice of developing professional qualifications using elements of artificial intelligence, personnel involvement problems and risk management processes, exchange of best international practices in education and training engineers and technical personnel and other topical issues of developing personnel potential in energy.

The plenary session, moderated by Dr. Alexey Gromov, Principal Director for Energy Studies of the Institute for Energy and Finance, was also attended by Deputy Director of Legislative and Personnel Potential Development Department of the Russian Ministry of Energy Ms. Tatiana Nedashkovskaya, Deputy Chairman of the All-Russian Electro-Trade Union Mr. Alexander Murushkin, Chairman of the Federal Educational and Methodical Association of Higher Education in the field of Power Generation Mr. Alexander Komov, Head of the Organizational Development and Career Management Department of LUKOIL Mr. Yury Pikhtovnikov and Head of the Industrial Partnership Programs at the SKOLKOVO Institute of science and technology ("Skoltech") Mr. Ivan Bogdanov.
