The risks and prospects for transformation of the global energy balance, the impact of regulatory restrictions on directions of developing energy markets, challenges and potential for cooperation in the oil and gas and power generation in the Black See region, corporate risk management strategies and other relevant issues were discussed at the Conference.
The Plenary session “Risks in the Modern World of Energy and their Governance” was attended by the European Energy Community Secretariat Director Janez Kopacz, Secretary General of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) Michael Christidis, President of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) Dmitry Pankin, Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation of the Russian Ministry of Energy Alexander Tolparov and Chairman of the Regional Group of the British Institute of Risk Management (IRM) Grant Griffiths.
