St. Petersburg, June 18. - Within the framework of the business program of the International Economic Forum Memorandum on cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of industrial reform, environmental protection and energy of Greece on cooperation in the construction and operation of the «Turkish pipeline» in Greece.
The Agreement provides for the creation of a joint venture to develop a feasibility study with equal participation in the share capital. The total volume of gas supply to Greece is expected to reach 47 milliard cubic meters of gas per year, most of this amount is planned to be distributed among the other countries of Eastern and Central Europe.
