Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia Sergey Donskoy and Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zangene agreed on further cooperation in the field of oil and gas. During a meeting with Iranian Oil Minister discussed the prospects of participation of Russian companies in the oil industry and in the field of oil exploration, as well as the possibility of training Iranian specialists in the oil industry on the basis of Russian schools.

 

In addition, meetings were held with the Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade of Iran Mohammad Reza Nematzade discussed the experiences of Russian geologists in search of the territory of Iran deposits of ferrous and precious metals, coal and other minerals that are of interest for the economic development of the Islamic Republic.
