St. Petersburg, June 18. - Within the framework of the business program of the International Economic Forum Memorandum on cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of industrial reform, environmental protection and energy of Greece on cooperation in the construction and operation of the «Turkish pipeline» in Greece.

Secretary-General of China Overseas Development Association (CODA) Mr. Hu Veypin signed an official welcome to organizers, participants and guests of the Third International Forum&Exhibition " Exploration, Production, Processing 2015".

Moscow – Pavel Zavalny, Chairman of the State Duma Committee of Energy of the Russian Federation, President of "Russian Gas Society" will make a presentation at the International Congress "Transformation of the Energy markets and the Russia’s role in the Global Energy Mix" within the framework of EPP-2015.

Before the start of the seminar Russian Energy Minister met with Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas of India D. Prandhanom, Saudi Oil Minister Al Naimi A. and Iranian Oil Minister N. Zangane, CEO Eni - K. Descalzi and Shell - B. van Bearden, OPEC Secretary General A. El-Badri.

Azizollah Ramezani, director for  international affairs of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) said:  “Russia and Iran could cooperate in the common fields of activity. We could share experiences and technologies, for example, in the transportation of gas. And in the future, the Iranian and Russian gas pipelines to Europe could be, perhaps, united”.

The key event of the conference program will be the International Congress "Transformation of the energy markets and Russia's role in the global energy mix". Transformation of the relation between energy suppliers and consumers, outcomes of the Summit of BRICS and SCO leaders in Ufa for developing the International Energy Cooperation, the future of  Russia – EU Energy Dialogue will be discussed within the framework of the Congress.

About 10.708 million barrels per day were produced in Russia in Mat 2015, while in Saudi Arabia - only 10.250 million barrels. Thus, Russia has become the largest oil producer in the world
