Mr. Margheri, Executive Vice President for Institutional Affairs of Edison will make a presentation at the Plenary Session “Risks in the morden world energy and govering them” on May 15.
In this capacity, he oversees Edison advocacy towards Italian, European and International Institutions, as well as stakeholders and opinion leaders. The Institutional Affairs Department is also responsible for sustainability policies and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Marco previously held various positions as Head of EU Affairs for Edison and in the Marketing & Sales Department, as Head of New Channel Development. Prior to joining Edison, Marco worked with General Electric Oil & Gas and with Cohn&Wolfe, now a WPP company.
Marco is the Chair for Italy of the WEC - World Energy Council (www.wec-italia.org), a Member of the Executive Committee of IAI – Istituto Affari Internazionali (www.iai.it), and a Council member of the ECFR - European Council on Foreign Relations (www.ecfr.eu).

Putin and Erdogan launched the construction of the Akkuyu nuclear power plant on Tuesday. This power plant will be the first nuclear power plant built in Turkey. "The most advanced engineering solutions, economically effective and reliable technologies, applied by ourselves in Russia, will be used at constructing the station,"- the Russian President said at the inauguration ceremony. http://tass.ru/politika/5092541

President Putin and President Erdogan are expected to meet in Turkey in the first week of April. The two leaders will chair the seventh meeting of the Turkish-Russian High-Level Cooperation Council (HLCC) and attend the NPP ground-laying ceremony.
The issues of risk management, as well as ensuring industrial, information, radiation and environmental safety at constructing and operating NPP Akkuyu and other international projects in the Black Sea region and European countries will be discussed with participation of the leaders of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) within the framework of the International Conference “Risk Management Leaders in Energy» (the Conference)  on May 15-16, 2018 in Istanbul, Turkey.
